The Evening Star Quilt Guild of North Shelby County was established in 1998. The Guild's purpose is to promote the love of quilts, to encourage and preserve the art of quilts and quilting and to contribute friendship, knowledge, and encouragement to others.
Our Guild meeting is the first Thursday of every month at North Shelby Library, 5521 Cahaba Valley Rd. Our other regular activities, classes and workshops are held at Valley Christian Church, 2600 Cherokee Place. These regular activities are Sit N Sew, the second Saturday of the month, Piece Makers, held quarterly, and Friday Night Drive In, also held quarterly.
Membership is open to anyone interested in quilts and quilting. Please come and visit us, the first two visits are no charge but we think you'd like to join us on your third visit.
Annual membership is $35.00 with payment due at the January meeting.
